Getting to know you helps us introduce the puppy who may become part of your family.
First the family, then the puppy.
- How do we begin?
- Tell us about your household, daily routine, children or other animals, and any experience with dachshunds. We will introduce our dogs and answer your questions about how they live and grow up.
- Can we visit?
- Yes, by appointment between 10:30 and 13:00. We agree beforehand what can be seen, taking the mother, puppies and their stage of development into account.
- Does an enquiry reserve a puppy?
- An enquiry starts a conversation. It does not reserve a puppy or commit you to one.
- Is there a waiting list?
- We explain current availability, expected timing and how requests are handled when we first speak.
- Can we choose from a photograph?
- Photographs are a useful introduction. We also discuss the puppy’s character, development and the home it would join before making a decision together.
- Can a puppy join a family outside Italy?
- We consider each request individually. Age, documentation, travel arrangements and support are discussed before any decision.
- What if our circumstances change?
- Please contact us. We want to understand what has changed and discuss the situation. Responsibilities and any return arrangements are governed by the agreed contract.

Every Wanhelsing puppy leaves home with its puppy kit, pedigree, microchip, health certificate, ownership transfer where applicable, feeding guidance — and our ongoing support.

The puppy’s current food and instructions for continuing its routine.

How much does a Wanhelsing puppy cost?
We share the price directly after our first conversation, together with what it includes and the terms of the placement. You are welcome to ask about it when you first contact us.
